The 7th “Seminar on Promotion of Bio-fuel for Sustainable Growth & its Impact on Climate Change” was jointly organized with the Central Institute of Mining & Fuel Research (CIMFR) ON 19 February ,2010 at Dhanbad ,Jharkhand .The seminar was supported by the Ministry of Earth Sciences, Govt of India & Indian Oil Corporation Ltd The primary objective of the seminar was to generate awareness for promoting the use of Bio-fuel, a renewable source of energy,to ensure energy security for substantial economic growth of the country, to generate employment opportunities in rural areas and to supplement the efforts of the Govt.for arresting the advancement of global warming which is posing a serious problem before the world and threating the survival of human race. It was supported by the Ministry of Earth Sciences, Govt of India, Indian Oil Corporation Ltd & CREDA HPCL Biofuel Ltd.
